Mr. Swaminathan Ramani, s/o Mr. V Swaminathan, was born on 6th of February, 1966, in the bustling city of Secunderabad, Telengana. His initial education happened in the industrial township of Jamshedpur followed by higher education in Chennai. He is not only a graduate in English and a diploma holder in Hotel Management, but also a polyglot and speaks multiple languages. Mr. Ramani started his career working for Bradma, a Tata Company, before moving on to Godrej, TVS Suzuki and finally joined The Park, Kolkata, as a banquet sales manager.

Savourites Hospitality Pvt Ltd, the mother brand of the iconic 6 Ballygunge Place restaurant chain, was started in the year 1998 along with his two partners Mr. Aninda Palit and Chef Sushanta Sengupta.

Mr. Ramani led the sales and marketing vertical of the company along with spearheading projects. He took on the additional function of macro finance. As the company grew from strength to strength, as a director, he took on added responsibilities of brand and communication. He is married with two children.

Mr. Aninda Palit, s/o Mr A Palit, was born on 8th of August, 1968, in Kolkata. He passed out of St Xavier's Collegiate School and completed his Hotel Management from IHM Taratala in 1990. After his initial days of training at The Taj, he joined the The Park, Kolkata. Mr Palit has also received training at the prestigious Den Haag School of Hotel Management, The Hague.

He met his future business partners Mr. S Ramani and Chef Sushanta Sengupta at The Park and together they started Savourites in 1998, the mother brand of 6 Ballygunge Place.

Mr. Palit led the Food and beverages services vertical of the company and is a master of human resource planning for restaurants, bars and outdoor catering. He is especially adept in handling large manpower for top notch parties and excels in staff training along with adopting best practises and latest technology in the segment of outdoor catering. He is married with two children.

Chef Sushanta Sengupta, s/o of R Sengupta was born on 9th of February, 1973, in Kolkata. Son of a senior Government servant, he had the privilege of staying in multiple places of the country thus enriching his cultural experience. He studied initially in New Delhi and passed out from IHM, Taratala in 1993. He did his training at The Taj, Delhi, and was in charge of Zen, the oriental restaurant at The Park, Kolkata as Senior Sous Chef.

Together with his two partners, Chef Sushanta started Savourites Hospitality Pvt. Ltd in 1998. From day one, Chef Sushanta has been at the helm of kitchen operations and has launched multiple restaurants including the flagship 6 Ballygunge Place restaurant. A popular face in the media, Chef Sushanta has researched various recipes and developed them further. As an oriental chef, he has participated in many international festivals and forums.

He personally oversees the base kitchen for outdoor catering in Kolkata which churns out thousands of meals every day. Chef Sushanta has himself mastered varied cuisines - namely North Indian, Bengali, Continental and even South Indian cuisine. A mentor extraordinaire, Chef Sushanta has trained and developed dozens of culinary masters under his tutelage. He is married with a daughter.
